Engagement with Azikel Petroleum Nigeria project

JLS Capital Strategies LLC has been retained by Azikel Petroleum Nigeria Limited and the Azikel Group as financial advisor for the Azikel Refinery Project in Nigeria.  JLS Capital will advise and support Azikel in raising of equity and debt capital needed for the project.

The Azikel Refinery is located adjacent to the Gbarain-Ubi Gas Gathering Facility in Obunagha-Gbarain, Bayelsa State and will have a capacity of 12,000 bpsd.  When complete, the project will sell its output into the domestic market, reducing Nigeria’s reliance on refined product import and further supporting the government’s key initiative to increase Nigeria’s domestic refining capacity.  Ventech Engineering LLC of Houston, Texas, a global leader in constructing modular refineries has been selected as the primary contractor of the project.
